The Deputy Chief Economist will provide specialist, strategic economic advice. They’ll put in place solid frameworks to ensure economic principles are applied rigorously in all decision-making and outputs. Their strong networks will help them identify project opportunities, working with an expert team to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• A high level of technical economic competence, preferably with a post graduate degree and extensive experience in economics
• Experience within a consulting environment
• Team leadership and experience mentoring a team and supporting their growth
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills and ability to speak in the media
• Excellent business acumen and ability to contribute at a leadership team level in developing and delivering the strategy and business plan.
