Principal Advisor Strategic Finance
- Lead investment modelling and cost out services
- Provide investment guidance & analysis
- Perm role circa $150-162k
As Principal Advisor Investment, your role is to provide specialist investment advice, guidance and analysis to enable decision making. This includes:
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of the agency’s fiscal environment and costs drivers.
- Developing an investment model to enable informed investment decision making.
- Delivering expert financial and investment analysis to support budget bids and business cases.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to senior management on investment strategies, and financial planning and funding requirements in line with agency goals.
To be considered, we are looking for a capable candidate who can operate strategically with senior management. This includes:
- Relevant qualifications in finance or economics and CA or CFA qualified
- A depth of experience developing and implementing investment frameworks and strategies ideally within a central government agency.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with advanced financial modelling skills and the use of data analysis tools and investment software.
- Ability to work with complex data to make informed investment decisions and recommendations.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to build collaborative relationships and effectively communicate investment concepts to senior management.
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
