Habitat for Humanity Nelson (HfHN) is entering an exciting phase as they expand their affordable and community housing offerings across the wider Nelson/Top of the South region.
 
They seek a commercially focussed CFO to sit on the leadership team to manage the finance, IT and business planning and support functions as the organisation grows. This includes:

• Providing strategic advice, business planning, analysis and forecasting.
• Deliver internal and external reporting, highlight opportunities and risk.
• Ensure all statutory and financial obligations are met.
• Develop IT capability.
• Oversee long term asset management and leases.
• Manage risk, insurance, support and HR functions.
• Coach the team, build effective relationships with the Board, government agencies, philanthropic investors and the National Support Office of Habitat for Humanity NZ.

As a Chartered Accountant you will demonstrate:

• Proven financial expertise, experienced in all aspects of financial planning, reporting, analysis and compliance.
• Knowledge of financial and information management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability influence direction and gain trust.
• Commitment to Habitat’s purpose.

 
HFHN is an Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity NZ, part of the global Habitat for Humanity charity.
