Senior Financial Accountant

• Wellington CBD location
• 6 months fixed term
• Up to $125k

Our client requires a Senior Financial Accountant who is technically capable to join their team.
 
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Overseeing financial accounting and monthly reporting.
• Assisting in the year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Having a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Monitoring internal controls and ensure robustness of systems.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Have the ability to communicate and develop relationships across the organisation
• Working with auditors.

  
To be considered, you will be:

• CA qualified, with 6+ years’ experience
• Have strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS or relevant standards.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
