Principal Land Advisor

We are partnering with a nationwide organisation in the search for a Principle Land Advisor for an hourly rate contract. Provide expert advice on land and title matters, including acquisition, divestment, subdivision, and Crown land management. This role is key to optimizing land assets, mitigating risks, and resolving complex land issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on land titles and Crown land matters
• Enhance business processes to optimize land asset management
• Mitigate land-specific risks for organisation
• Resolve conflicting perspectives, ensuring practical and accurate advice
• Investigate and correct land records, resolving errors or ambiguities
• Collaborate with agencies and manage work from Accredited Suppliers
• Support internal customers with land information queries

About You

• 3+ years of experience with Crown property and NZ land titles.
• Strong understanding of land legislation (e.g., Land Transfer Act, Public Works Act)
• Skilled in Landonline and mapping software ArcGIS
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ideally having experince dealing with Māori land

This is an opportunity to lead critical land projects and influence decision-making in a short-term role.
