Financial Planning Analyst

- 3month contract/immediate start /2-3 days per week
We are looking for a capable Financial Analyst with strong modelling, communication and relationship management skills.
Based in Mount Wellington and reporting to the Group CFO, you will be involved in financial planning, analysis and reporting to support the organisation’s long-term growth and to monitor performance. This includes the long & medium-term planning cycles, including completing the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
You may also be involved in pricing and margin analysis and will prepare and present monthly performance reports for the executive management team and the Board.
To be successful, we are looking for a capable individual with commercial nous and strong analytical and communication skills who can think strategically and help identify opportunities and risks. You will also bring advanced skills in excel and Power BI.
To be considered you will demonstrate:
- A depth of financial planning & analysis skills, ideally within the telecommunications, infrastructure or related services industries in New Zealand.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and analytical approach.
- Proven ability to build and maintain and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Qualified CA, CPA, or CIMA.
