Change Manager

  • Hourly rate contract with an immediate start.

We are currently partnering with an organisation in search for a talented change manager to assist with an HRIS Payroll replacement programme to modernise its systems and processes. 

This is an essential piece of work which impacts everyone in the business. As such, this requires someone with at least 5 years’ experience in implementing HRIS or a change manager with a background in HRIS Payroll.

The key responsibilities in this role are:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy
  • Clear stakeholder engagement and communication with all key stakeholder groups. 
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, focus groups and user voice/feedback sessions. 
  • Training and capability development, including the development of training strategies and plans to support user adoption of the new HRIS/Payroll system.
  • Proactively identify potential sources of resistance and develop strategies of mitigation.
  • Define key adoption metrics and develop plans to track user adoption and proficiency.

You must have:

  • An understanding of and experience in managing change processes, particularly within the public sector.
  • Experience in implementing new HRIS/Payroll systems
  • Experience managing stakeholder engagement (workshops, focus groups, feedback sessions).
  • Knowledge of risk identification within a change process.

This is a full-time hourly rate contract of between $140-$150 until the end of June. This is based in Wellington, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. There is a possibility that this role is extended.

This requires an immediate start, with candidates able to start 29 April. As such you must be currently based in Wellington, and available to start immediately.
