We’re on the lookout for a strategic, creative, and hands-on Marketing & Communications Manager who’s ready to step up. You’ll contribute to the marketing and comms strategy, while still staying close to the action—writing, creating, and delivering content that cuts through. It’s your chance to amplify voices, grow impact, and build a brand that connects deeply with professionals across the motu.

You’ll lead one direct report, guiding and mentoring while also rolling up your sleeves. It’s part strategy, part storytelling, and all purpose.

What you’ll do:

• Drive smart, engaging campaigns that bring events, courses, and insights to life.
• Craft content that connects—across email, web, social, and print.
• Shape the full customer journey through segmentation, automation, and insight.
• Champion a strong, inclusive brand voice that reflects Aotearoa’s diversity.
• Own digital performance—from UX and SEO to analytics and continuous improvement.
• Lead media and PR, and steer key publications including the annual report.

What you’ll bring:

• Senior-level experience in marketing and comms, with a creative and strategic edge.
• Sharp copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• A solid understanding of digital tools, marketing automation, and CRM systems.
• Experience leading campaigns that drive engagement and growth.
• A collaborative, courageous mindset—and the confidence to lead and mentor.
• A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Māori in practice.
• Bonus: design or video content skills (Adobe InDesign, Figma, etc).
