Senior Financial Accountant

Great opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join this collaborative organisation immediately!
 
Reporting into a fantastic manager and working in a small, supportive finance team, you will work across a broad range of responsibilities from treasury accounting to preparing statutory reports,  and supporting compliance and risk activities.  You will have the freedom to take ownership of your work, while also contributing to process improvements and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
 
Ideally you will bring:

• Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant – at least 2 years
• Strong understanding of NZ IFRS is advantageous
• Proficient with Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Team first approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You must be either a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident or possess a valid New Zealand Work Visa.
