Finance Business Partner

Can you work in an operationally complex environment and advise senior management on how they utilise their funding?  
   
As a Finance Business Partner, your role is to provide financial advice and analysis to Tier 3 and 4 managers across a range of portfolios.  You will interpret financial performance and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.   
   
Responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management and support key business initiatives.
• Deliver accurate and forward-thinking financial insights to drive decision-making.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Identify financial opportunities & risk.
• Develop trusting relationships with stakeholders.
• Drive financial continuous improvement initiatives across the business and within finance.

 
To be successful:

• We seek a Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
• With proven experience in finance business partnering ideally within a government agency or Crown Entity. 
• You will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can link business drivers and financial performance.
• Along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to influence, you will also have a proactive and solutions focussed approach.
