Senior Financial Accountant

• 12 month fixed term contract
• Wellington CBD location
• $150-$160k

Our client requires a capable Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager with strong attention to detail and CFIS experience to join the team.
 
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Overseeing financial accounting and monthly reporting.
• Oversee the finance team
• Assisting in the year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Having a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Monitoring internal controls and ensure robustness of systems.
• Have the ability to communicate and develop relationships across the organisation
• Working with auditors.

To be considered, you will be:

• CA qualified, with relevant work experience within the public sector.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
