About the role: 
 
Reporting directly to CFO, this is an exciting role where your focus is to influence the business strategy and long-term planning of all capital investment and asset management activities across the organisation. This includes:
 

• Supporting senior management to make informed decisions in line with strategic direction and business plans.
• Assessing the commercial viability and feasibility of options and managing the financial planning and prioritisation of funding.
• Ensuring all capital investment and asset management spend is managed in a fiscally prudent manner.
• Promoting the continual improvement and maturity of investment management frameworks, as well as developing effective performance management frameworks to ensure the business is delivering on targets.
• Building commercial and financial capability across the business as well as championing innovative thinking.

 
To be considered:
 
Along with being CA qualified, we require a highly capable candidate who can bring thought leadership and innovation to the role, and who demonstrates sound commercial judgement and exceptional influencing and communication skills.   
 
You will bring a strong appreciation of asset management and investment management frameworks gained within a capital-intensive industry, and any knowledge of contract management, procurement and programme management will also be viewed favourably.
