Our client seeks a capable financial accountant, with public sector experience, looking to broaden their skills! You will be involved in:

• Financial accounting, management accounting and analysis.
• This includes CFIS reporting, year-end audit and accounting standards.
• You will also work with the business to provide budgeting and forecasting
• Support decision making and scenario analysis
• And gain exposure to Power BI to provide insightful dashboards to translate information for stakeholders
• You will also support process improvement and continuous improvement

To be successful you will be CA qualified and:

• Demonstrate strong financial accounting skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Demonstrate a proactive and solutions-focused and continuous improvement mindset
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to communicate financial performance to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong excel skills and an interest in learning more about Power BI.
