This is an exciting time to join this permanent Finance Manager role, as they transform their finance functions! You will play a key role in leading the team and developing a finance function that enables the business to successfully plan and deliver on strategy and goals.
 
Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, you will lead a small high-performing team and provide strategic financial insights that drive decision-making. You’ll also work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to lift financial knowledge across the business and improve financial systems and processes.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating the team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and customer service.
• Deliver robust budgeting and forecasting and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic financial advice and analysis to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Partner with business units to provide training and deliver insights that improve financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and statutory reporting.
• Improve financial systems, reporting tools, and controls.
• Oversee payroll, fleet, and travel management functions.

About you:

•  We are looking for a proven finance leader, who is solutions focused, and can operate in fluid environments.
• You will be CA qualified (or similar) with strong relationship management skills, able to work effectively across the business to translate financial performance and influence direction.
• Along with commercial nous, you will also demonstrate strong analytical skills to support strategy and financial planning.
• Any FMIS systems will also be viewed favourably.
