It serves those children and young people, and their families, keeping them safe and preventing them from going into care or custody, by ensuring the children’s system supports families.
The Executive Director Transformation and Strategic Alignment is a newly established, strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working in close partnership with the executive leadership team. This pivotal position is responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s transformation agenda, acting as a trusted advisor and an integrator with an enterprise-wide lens.
With a focus on enabling future-focused and informed decision-making, the Executive Director will provide both strategic oversight and operational leadership across a number of key functions including Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), governance, risk and assurance, planning and business optimisation.
A champion of continuous improvement and cross-functional integration, the Executive Director will foster a culture of planning and performance that supports sustainable, high-impact outcomes. The role will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of complex change initiatives.
To be considered for this critical leadership position, you will be a senior executive with a proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives within the public sector. Your experience will span whole-of-organisation transformation, involving multiple functions, groups and teams, underpinned by strong project and programme management capability.
You will demonstrate a deep understanding and a commitment to the public sector cultural competency framework, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the values of mana tamaiti, whakapapa and whanaungatanga principles and tikanga.
