We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting services, payroll, and risk management for a large, purpose-driven organisation.
 
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support and develop your team, enhance financial processes, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial accounting team to deliver core accounting and payroll services.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and regular reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Support strategic financial planning and risk management.
  • Collaborate across the business to ensure financial policies are fit for purpose and well understood.

 
Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in business/accounting and a professional accounting qualification (CA or equivalent) required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting
  • Proven team leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills.
  • Experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
