Regional Property Portfolio Manager

We are partnering with a nationwide organisation in the search of a Property Portfolio Manager based in Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property manager to manage a large commercial portfolio of leased properties.
 
The role requires someone to:

  • Manage the region’s leased property portfolio, ensuring security of tenure and value for money.
  • Develop and implement leasing strategies that support short and long-term organisational goals.
  • Perform strategic and tactical lease negotiations and leasing transactions, including renewals and reviews.
  • Look for opportunities to reduce property expenditure and optimise under-utilised spaces.
  • Be the region’s subject matter expert in leasehold property.

 
To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Recent experience managing a large portfolio of commercial property for a corporate or government organisation.
  • Experience managing both expense and revenue leases across the full cycle of rent reviews, expiries, renewals and maintenance.
  • Experience in strategic and tactical negotiation of leases.
  • The ability to undertake financial feasibility and whole of life cost modelling.
  • Experience in occupier services.

 
This is an hourly rate contract with full-time hours, starting by early May.
