We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a large and complex government organisation, providing financial insight and support to senior leaders across a diverse portfolio.
Working as a trusted advisor, you will deliver high-quality financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, business case development, and strategic advice to inform decision-making. You will help leaders understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure resources are effectively managed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial advice and challenge
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Preparing and presenting financial analysis and reporting
- Contributing to business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities and recommending solutions
- Building strong working relationships across the organisation
You will bring:
- CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven Finance Business Partner experience within a large or complex organisation
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and business cases
- Advanced Excel skills and strong reporting capability
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
