About the Role
We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Transformation and Recovery to lead complex projects and transformation initiatives to drive organisational improvement. Additionally, this role will work with key stakeholders to deliver their recovery and resilience functions, looking at the organisation’s mitigation and adaptation programmes, as well as their response strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Lead complex transformation and organisational improvement initiatives.
- Drive delivery across a varied portfolio of strategic projects and priorities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee functions across recovery and resilience workstreams.
Skills & Experience Required
You will be a strategic and influential leader with experience delivering change in complex environments and building strong relationships across a broad stakeholder landscape. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong capability in strategic planning, performance monitoring and organisational reporting.
- Stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across local government, central government and community groups.
- Knowledge of resilience, recovery, emergency management or organisational preparedness frameworks.
Length of contract: As soon as possible until 26 February 2027
