Corporate Accountant
Reporting into a Financial Controller, your role will encompass a dynamic blend of financial accounting and management accounting duties, crucial for fulfilling statutory requirements and achieving strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing end-to-end financial statement and annual report management
- Manage the audit process and promptly addressing inquiries
- Budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
- Working closely with cost centre managers
- Handling GST and FBT returns as necessary
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant qualification or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or Big 4 trained.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards (NZ IFRS knowledge is advantageous)
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
