Our client is building depth in their finance functions and requires a commercially savvy strategic Finance Business Partner to support key customers. The focus is to ensure the long term financial sustainability of the business, aid decision making and ensure the required financial resources are available to deliver on strategy and goals.
To be successful we are seeking the following skills:
- Strong relationship and communication skills, and the ability to drive meaningful discussions and outcomes.
- Understanding business plans and strategy, and understand key challenges impacting financial performance.
- Provide strategic advice and modelling to enable informed decision making.
- Advise on the utilisation of resources, investment, and funding.
- Identifying and managing risk and,
- Ability to drive cost savings discussions and looking at new ways to operate and provide services.
To be considered you will be CA qualified and demonstrate depth. Along with the ability to think strategically, you can also interpret complex information, and be comfortable influencing at executive levels. Along with an enquiring mind, you will be happy challenging the status quo, and will bring innovative ideas and solutions to the table.
A strong background in the machinery of government is desirable, as well as the ability to think laterally to improve the financial sustainability of your customers.
