Senior Financial Accountant

This is an exciting role for a strong financial accountant with technical accounting skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the annual financial statements and notes to the accounts.
- Advise on any changes to accounting processes to improve compliance.
- Keeping abreast of new accounting standards and updates, and implications to the wider organisation.
- Provide verbal/written advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coach/mentor others to lift knowledge across the finance team.
To be successful in this role, you will be CA qualified and demonstrate:
- Sound annual financial accounting experience (and or NZ audit experience) working in complex organisations.
- Demonstrated skills in applying technical accounting policy.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to write sound technical accounting interpretation and advice.
- The ability to conduct research and analysis to resolve complex problems.
