The Government Communication Security Bureau is excited to be developing a fit for purpose Finance function to enable the intelligence community.  
About the role:
Are you a capable analyst, wanting to use your modelling skills to support strategy, long term planning and decision making?
This is an exciting role where you will utilise your financial modelling and analytical skills to cost new initiatives and develop long term forecasts and cost allocation models.  You will also analyse data to advise on any financial risks or trends impacting the long term financial sustainability of the organisation.
To be successful you will:

  • Ideally be CFA or CA qualified and bring past budgeting, forecasting and modelling experience gained within the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrate the commercial nous to interpret strategy into operational delivery.
  • Bring excellent attention to detail, a strong delivery and quality/output focus.
  • Have advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills and the ability to translate financial complexity with ease.

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively, you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
