General Manager – Housing
- Part time, hourly rate contract.
- Leadership opportunity within a social good organisation.
- Make a difference within the community.
We are seeking a seasoned interim leader to step into a pivotal role within a well-regarded, community-focused organisation. This is a 3-day per week assignment (July–September), focused on providing stability, continuity, and hands-on operational leadership.
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead a capable team, ensuring housing operations run smoothly across budgets, and compliance. You will also maintain momentum across a significant multi-million-dollar m housing redevelopment programme, with a focus on coordination and stakeholder alignment rather than strategy. The stakeholders will include stakeholders. MHUD, MSD, Iwi, the rebuild team and Tenants of course.
This role requires a pragmatic, senior operator with strong stakeholder management skills and experience across housing, property, or related sectors. You’ll be confident engaging with government agencies, community partners, and internal leadership.
A competitive market hourly rate is on offer for the right candidate.
To apply for this position, you must be currently residing in New Zealand and either be a NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a valid NZ Work Visa.
