The role:
Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner who can work with senior management, support strategy and investment, identify risks and opportunities, and help improve financial performance across the business?
Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Provide quality analysis, reporting, advice and insights that improve financial performance and contribute to strategy and outcomes.
- Support business cases, budget bids, and planning and investment processes.
- Analyse business initiatives and identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Drive process improvements and help build financial capability.
About you
To be successful, you will be a confident finance professional who can balance technical expertise with strong business partnering skills.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance and CA qualification (or equivalent).
- A depth of experience in finance business partnering experience gained in large complex organisations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build credibility with senior leaders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
- Any experience in government will be viewed favourably.
