The QEII National Trust is an independent charity that encourages and promotes the protection, preservation, and enhancement of special areas of land across Aotearoa. The Trust works in partnership with private landowners to protect our natural and cultural heritage to benefit present and future generations.
The Trust is looking for a new Corporate Services & Finance Coordinator to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be the central hub for corporate services across the organisation -supporting finance, payroll, office operations, and board coordination. This is a busy, varied role where your ability to stay organised and deliver high-quality support will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including suppliers, equipment, and facilities
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, meetings, and events for staff and board members
- Prepare and distribute board packs and meeting documentation
- Coordinate logistics and administration for board and committee meetings
- Maintain governance records and documentation in line with organisational requirements
- Process invoices, expenses, and financial transactions accurately and on time
- Assist with reconciliations and financial record-keeping
- Payroll, including employee changes, leave, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to improving systems, processes, and ways of working
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in office administration, corporate services, or finance support
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using financial systems (e.g. Business Central, Xero or similar)
- Payroll or HRIS experience (e.g. Employment Hero or similar)
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
