Financial Accountant (12-month Fixed Term)

• 12-month fixed term position based in Wellington

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on Financial Accountant role within a high performing finance team, with responsibility across month-end, reporting, audit, and NZ IFRS requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support NZ IFRS financial reporting
• Assist with audit (half-year and year-end)
• Partner with stakeholders on accounting treatment and data quality
• Contribute to process improvements

You will bring:

• CA qualified (or equivalent)
• 3 + years financial accounting experience
• NZ IFRS knowledge
• Strong balance sheet and general ledger experience
• Fixed asset experience preferred
• Detail-focused, proactive, and confident communicator
